At Captura Group we’re proud of the work we’ve done for the past two decades helping our clients grow their business by creating and amplifying experiences that connect with U.S. Hispanics. That’s our passion and the fuel that will keep us going for 20 more years and beyond.

But as a minority owned business who has championed for more diversity, representation and inclusion in the business world we felt the need to do more and give back to the community that has given us and our clients so much throughout the years.

That’s why we joined Support Latino Business (SLB), a non-profit national community-led initiative that is shining a light on the significant economic contributions Latino businesses make, the jobs they help create, and the positive impact they bring to all local communities and the U.S. economy.

As a Hispanic and digital-first agency our primary contribution to SLB is to optimize the organization’s digital presence including a redesigned website and social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.  The new website supports Latino business in many ways including:

How can you help?

We invite you to help support Support Latino Business in anyway that you can, including:

Regardless of how you choose to support this initiative, you’ll be making a contribution to a community that has been and will continue to fuel our country’s economic growth.

Why Latino Owned Business?

There were two guiding principles when deciding which cause to support: 1) alignment with our core beliefs, and 2) have the greatest impact potential.

We are business people, and our role as an agency is to help other businesses grow. We believe that as businesses do well, there’s a positive effect on the economy: more employment, more wealth and a more prosperous society.

Latino entrepreneurs are starting businesses at a faster rate than any other group and already account for over 4.4 Million businesses in the United States. Latino owned businesses create wealth ($700 Billion annually) and employment (287K Latino Owned Business have paid employees), and will continue to be a driving force for economic growth.

Our vision is that by supporting Latino Owned business we can help create a positive effect: more business, more employment, more growth.

Why now?

COVID-19 has disproportionately impacted minority groups, and the Latino-owned business community hasn’t been an exception: slower sales, staff cuts, and closures among other realities. A recent poll from our partners at Small Business Majority surveyed 500 small business owners, found that 9 in 10 small businesses were impacted by COVID-19, with 43% indicating a severe negative impact. Additionally, the poll found that 41% of small business owners experienced a revenue decrease of 50% or more, and 33% of small businesses closed up shop.

By stepping up for Latino Owned Business now, when they need it the most, we can help accelerate recovery and get that positive effect started.
